FYI , any guys thinking of the 787 DEC CSA option
the window will close around Mar2014.( heard this today) Currently
they offer to pay the TR for 777/767 and737 guys onto the jet
for a three year return of service. Europe bases first then AKL. So might have to spend 6 mths in GZ as the 787 ramps up etc.
New contract due shortly ... already interest is high so if planning of leaving
the desert suggest you get on shortly if interested as applicants stand
at about 100 qualified expressions of interest across the agencies I am told. ( of course not verified)
CSA have just allowed an ozzi DEC here to flip over from the A330 to 787 - so those worried about equipment change etc down the track , this augurs well to continue flying to maintain the basing.
cheers

Have not seen details, but curious about two points:

1. Term of contract - 3 years?

2. Starting pay for 787/A330

Search longreachchina website, or IAC or BAA Australia... CAE Parc are also an agency..

This is sort of inside info.. Most of which is not with agencies yet until master contracts issued shortly..

Package upgrade coming shortly... 18000- 20000 USD per month or so, two weeks annual leave and a few other items... Reverse roster / bases on 787 will prob start in Paris... Already up and running quite well on 330 in BNE and MELB..

Contracts will be 3 years... to harmonise various agencies at the moment...
