Press ESC to exit full-screen mode

Yes, I know, you've told me dozens of times!

Is there a way to stop this appearing? It's most annoying as it usually comes up and hangs there, partially blocking what I want to watch.

I move the cursor away from the video (playing) screen and the "Press ESC" goes off the screen.
