According to the regional pilots, the UAV are operated from here.

That is a frequently used airspace by US anti Al Shabab force...I met a few strange looking planes in 2009 between Formos Bay and Mtondoni..the copter/fixed wing twin engine hybrid was heading south toward Malindi/Mombasa.There was also a Saab340 10000 feet..very provocative to the local populace! Why don't they take the more seaward route?:hmm:
