Wow, must be incredibly important to warrant a post on pprune in attempting to contact fellow professional 'techies'.
"I'm Capt Claret of pprune fame and I would appreciate a PM from one of the techies on VA 1628"
Who knows.... it be for a compliment, a criticism, a clarification or even an invitation for a beer.
My money is that "Capt Claret of pprune fame" is not impressed about something due to the use of the word 'appreciate'.
Whatever happened, I am trying to imagine him turning to the FO (or Captain) and saying:
"By golly son! Did you see that, well we need to talk to those boys and as soon as we land I'll be straight on pprune to ask if they'd appreciate giving me a PM!"

Since we don't have a regulator worth the name and nobody will talk to ATSB, its regulation by Pprune.
