please help!!! i'm stuck!

I am one of the unfortunates who is stuck with a conversion dilemma. I am a flight instructor in the USA with 1700TT, 600 twin and a FAA atpl. I wish to return home to Europe and convert. I have no problem sitting the CPL or ATP exams but am I caught having to retrain the whole IR course again,i.e flight training?
Will the FAA/JAA reach agreement soon?
Can anybody give suggestions on courses of action as I'm really desperate.

Wish I could help, but I know almost zip-all about converting licences...

However, the good people in "Wannabes" are the ones to talk to, so I'm transferring this topic into there (third forum down on the front page.) Hopefully someone in there will point you in the right direction.
