hello I have a few piccys to share with pprune land,

How do i turn a JPEG file into a web linky thing, so i can post it on pprune?

Why can't pprune have an easier image loading system?

The image loading procedure is actually very easy. Due to the fact that webspace costs money, and realizing that this board and all it's associated work is expensive enough, it is pretty much selfexplanatory that the PPRuNe site is not a picture-host.

Find some free webspace and upload the picture(s) to the web. Having completed this you can easily post here and use the IMG button and put the correct link to your pics in the provided column.

As I said...pretty easy...this smiley here is actually also just a link http://www.edonkey-town.com/forum/black/smilies/gap.gif

Just to add, make sure the host you select for your photos allows direct linking to them. Many (rapidly becoming most ?) do not. They require a visitor to enter via your home page, album index or whatever. And the fact that you (the originator) can see the photo when you post the link here, does not mean others can - it will be in your browser's cache.

Got to www.fototime.com or www.villagephotos.com
They allow you to link and even show you how to do it (I think)
