The DGCA has finally come out with guidelines for those candidates who had obtained an ICAO PPL abroad and now wish to obtain an Indian DGCA CPL on the basis of flight training in India

Previously the DGCA for some reason only known to them would only count 40 hours of flying

However with the issue of this new circular you can count all the hours that you have flown till the issue of PPL . But you have to obtain an Indian PPL first
