CPA 1246 written on unidentified flying object near Glascow at 3500'. (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2317156/Airbus-pilot-moment-passenger-plane-came-close-crashing-UFO-flying-Glasgow.html?ito=feeds-newsxml)

Weather balloons and high speed collisions with unidentified objects that cause little damage except skin dents, isn't all that uncommon these days, becoming more of an issue; even at altitudes from 10,000' to FL410. Anyone take a weather balloon into a Trent? What were your N1 vibes after the hit? Wish we had a list of the near-hits and actual events available to us as pilots from our airline, and a collective list developed via all airline/commercial/private aircraft.
