Thatcher led Britain's Conservatives to three election victories from 1979 to 1990, the longest continuous period in office by a British prime minister since the early 19th century. Alongside former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, Thatcher battled against communism and saw the Berlin Wall get torn down in 1989.

You will be missed.

Oh that we had one politician today of one tenth her calibre.

RIP and Thank You.

I would like to think that once every generation a true leader emerges from the wilderness, that is our political landscape, but sadly it is not that often.

Margaret Thatcher helped pull her country from the edge of the abyss, led it to glory in The Falkland Islands and, along with another great leader from America, defeat an evil empire.

One can't help but compare as the current crop of "leaders" are befuddled on how to handle the pipsqueak who leads North Korea or the mad mullahs running Iran....no doubt our current crop will once again cower and cave as we wait and hope for a real leader to emerge from the wilderness.

RIP Lady Thatcher, you made us proud!
