ETHIOPIAN SCAM

For those who are still thinking this is a serious outfit: besides the fact that they don't pay salary during 'training', a friend of mine travelled 20 plus hr, spent almost 2,000 USD on tickets, and, after more than a month, didn't received any information from them. Nothing, zilch, nada, rien!
He testimoned another candidate being interrupted, on the midlle of the interview, by someone saying:...."stop this interview, we no longer need 777 Captains"...!
The poor guy had travelled half the globe for that "interview"...

And who's fault is that? I don't understand why people sign off to go interview at a place paying for their expenses in the first place!

In what way is this a scam? If your friend gave up money to this Company for whatever reason and then no job etc etc he has been scammed.

If he just paid his own expenses to find out its a white elephant,

Ethiopian Airlines used to provide transportation on their own aircraft to the interview, paid for the hotel and food purchased in the hotel. They also used to pay a salary during training.

Has all of that changed?
