View Full Version : Southampton/Farnborough Airport ground jobs
Hi all, i'm relocating to Hampshire in the next month and looking to continue in aviation if possible - is anyone aware of any airlines/handling agents etc recruiting at the moment or in the coming months? Anything would be of interest, seasonal Customer Service Agent is one role that comes to mind (last time I did that the airline was recruiting from around February through to May)

Southampton has Servisair doing most of the PAX handling, Aurigny self handle their Trislander operation and Signature Flight Support provide GA handling.
Unless anything has changed recently Servisair don't pay much (helps if you speak Polish?), Aurigny have a large seasonal increase in traffic so may need temporary staff, and Signature don't appear to do much anytime except the Southampton Boat Show in September.
Might be worth a call to the Aurigny Station Manager (02380612829).

Good Day,
Did you manage to find anything, where and how? I have worked in many Customer Service areas in the Travel Industry in the last 8 years, from ground staff for an Airline, Car Rental Company, Cruise Lines, Hotels but I want to go back into the Aviation Industry ( as ground staff - doing check-in, arrivals, departures, ticket sales, etc) as it was of all my Jobs the Most Enjoyable Job in my Career. I am looking into getting into the Tag Farnborough Airport, as i live close by as a Customer Service Agent, and would like to know the best way to do this, which time of the year are they employing as any advise would be much appreciated. I have checked there site but nothing note there.
