Incident: Sriwijaya B735 at Padang

A Sriwijaya Boeing 737-500, registration PK-CLJ performing flight SJ-21 from Medan to Padang (Indonesia), went off the runway while landing in Padang around 18:00L (11:00Z) and came to a stop with all wheels on soft ground. No injuries occurred, the aircraft sustained minor if any damage.

The airport confirmed the aircraft skidded off the runway while arriving from Medan at about 18:00L. The airport is currently closed.

Padang offers a runway 15/33 of 2750 meters/8860 feet length.
