Hi

Does anyone know if it matters to future employers what aircraft sim you did your MCC training on?
Are your prospects higher if you did it on a 737 or whatever?

Thanks

I dont know if it gives you any advantage with interviews but it definatly give you an advantage when it comes to the sim check. I did the 737 MCC and now have a job flying 737 and I think that helped me alot.

As above really. I know from interview experience that the employers don't really give a t*** about type on MCC, but if it can help you with the sim ride then it is a plus.

Don't forget though, there is no point paying X extra to do the shiny glass cockpit 737 mcc, when your sim ride is on a carravelle for example (mine was). And also no point paying the extra if the sim ride you do is 6 months after the MCC (quite likely).

I would do what i did again. Cheap MCC, on BE200, then pay for a quick practice sim, on a relevant a/c just before the real sim.
