No need for CX to do anything.
Lack of workable slots and parking constraints at HKIA will probably kill them as a home base carrier, unless someone can convince the Mainland millionaires (or should that be billionaires?) to take their 65+ private jet toys elsewhere.

Didn't do your homework did you AJ?

Bloomberg details the latest glitch, actually, screeching halt, as the Special Administrative Region of China stops for however long it wishes the processing of licenses for new airlines.

This is not only going to further inconvenience Qantas, and no doubt entertain Cathay Pacific and Hong Kong’s other airlines, but PRC carrier Spring and Fall Airlines, which is also asking for a franchise to be granted to extend the coverage of its already well established mainland China operations.

Will be nice hearing their new callsign on the airwaves, bringing back memories of fun times in the old days "KaiTak".

So: "The total capitalisation of Jetstar Hong Kong remains unchanged at $US198 million"

Oasis lost over $US120 in 2 years.

How long would Jetstar last?

Oasis lost over $US120 in 2 years.

You can't compare them. Oasis was flying 744's to London.
