Hi all.

I didn't want to invade the Thomas Cook thread as lots going off with the company, and I didn't want my message to get lost amongst.

I'm flying out next week on said route.
Looking at flightrader, it seems to be favoured by AC G-TCBB.
Do you know if there is any in flight entertainment?
Looking at Tripadvisor the LGW flight does.

Also, what route would we possibly take.

Also, would the same crew do the rtn flight?

Ps - we have paid the little extra for exit seats.
Thanks all.

Not sure about the IFE. The route will probably be out via the Brest peninsula, across the Bay of Biscay to the north coast of Spain around Asturias or Santiago, then down through Portugal to Faro or Lisbon, down the coast of Morocco and West Africa to Dakar then to BJL. The crew will slip in BJL for a night, operating back either into LGW or possibly BHX. Hope that helps.

No IFE equipment is installed on G-TCBB or TCBC. All other B752s have IFE via overhead monitors.

Great - let me know where I can fly on either aircraft - there's only so many editions of Mr Bean I can stomach!

BC is currently based at NCL & I think BB repositioned to MAN today

Is there anyway of knowing the day before?
Or just a case of looking at flightrader for tcx into bhx ?

Thanks guys.

It's likely that the BHX 757 the day before your departure will be the aircraft you fly on, I think it's G-JMCD at the moment

G-TCCB is the current based aircraft and is on the SSH flight today.
Most likely this will be the aircraft tomorrow on BJL.

G-tcbb (b757). G-tccb is a 767 and not based at bhx.

No IFE then if Flyboy is correct.

Thank goodness we've gone for 1D 1E, wouldnt fancy being shoe horned in for 6hrs with no entertainment to take mind off physical and mental numbness.

Thanks.
