When is this horrible stuff going to give up. If your 5years old it's nice.....but if you have to go to work......especially in the aviation industry ......:-(

Hey, i will swap you your snow for our constant 35 to 40 degree celcius days and 25 degree nights, had a gut full of the heat!

Where, in general, are you TOWTEAMBASE? We just got 18", just trying to gauge the torment the snow is causing.

That's just it, its how we cope.....or dont. I can watch discovery, and see trucks driving across frozen lakes, and WWii bombers being de-iced using a mop,then turn over to sky news,and see the M25 gridlocked, airports closed blah blah blah,that was my point that's all

Agree - deep snow sucks.

UK cold is better than Oz heat, though. Got central heating, don't have aircon. Wrap up warm to go outside, no problem - warm as toast after 10 minutes walking or whatever. Keeps the big spiders, scorpions, snakes and any similar ar$e biting critters out, too.
