Future plans for CPL guys recruited by MSD Aviation

Hi guys,

MSD aviation is sending guys to Lion Air Indonesia after charging a huge amount (> 30 lac ) for B737 type rating . But recently Indonesian DGCA revised requirements for Non-Indonesian first officers , they need min 250 hrs on type from Jan 2013 . :ugh:

Now whats gonna happen to the guys send by MSD and getting their type rating done in Germany ?? and also those guys who recently finished it and waiting to get absorbed by Lion Air ??

Well you get what you pay for.... So if you paid a shoddy agent that selected people based on their ability to pay instead of on the quality of their flying you will have a very tough time... :\

I guess they are screwed. They paid a middle man without any guarantees and now the rules have changed.

Indonesia used to be the P2F Mecca but I guess those days are over. It will be interesting to see where these middle men will do their business in the future. There is no other country that compares to Indonesia in terms of growth in aviation.
