Thank goodness the wing wasn't 18" lower or the flight deck 18" higher. We have seen the result, if I'm not mistaken, with a Shorts Skyvan.

Similar thing happened at Luton many years ago - wing of a Courtline BAC1-11 on take-off roll went through cockpit of a Piper Aztec - ouch!

Sad thing is it also happened in Paris about a month before the Concorde accident.
