Playing with an app Mike WSM and others made possible for me on the computer section, I decided to test it against this:

Tinnitus Sound Therapy Treatment - Tone generator & Tuner | AudioNotch (http://www.audionotch.com/app/tune/)

I was impressed by the little tuner's presentation on my phone, but when I tested it, I got better than one cycle accuracy at A 880 and a one cycle error at 1760

It has auto tune with a 'needle' pointer and will play the frequencies to you. One will never stop playing with these toys now.

Only trouble is, me ears are whistling more loudly now.:ooh:

"My horn goes round the world."

That bought back some memories. The girl I was besotted with in my teens loved 'Cherry Pink . . .' so I purchased a trumpet for two quid and set about learning. That was after I'd washed the leaves out of it with the garden hose.

I think it may have been something to do with the inflated cheeks and bulging eyes, but she went off with someone else.

Awww, great memories. Magic! However does he make a trumpet do that?
