Small a/c with three occupants (unhurt) left the runway sideways. Airport expects to be closed until 2 pm local time.
Well they do have a spare runway...

So they close the airport for a minimum of 4 hours. Why so long??

Right MLG collapsed afterwards. It ended on the runway edge.

Strange but no-one seems to have noticed that Berlin SXF was closed for most of yesterday due to a landing incident/accident yesterday at approx 0800Z.:ooh:
Not on the news either, surprisingly considering the impact (xcuse the pun...........) on all arriving & departing flights, G/A's & diversions to all over the place (TXL filled up very quickly)!
Sounds like a hard landing, probable a/c or tyre damage & departed the RWY onto the grass.
Hope everyrone on board was OK.
