Welcome back to SAS
We are very pleased that you want to return to SAS and we are looking forward to benefit from the experiences you have acquired during you absence.
This application site will be open 14 day's - which means that you must submit your application no later than February 22th, 2013.
This process is intended for pilots that were dismissed from SAS in the period from 2003-2009 ( "former SAS pilots"). The purpose of this process is to gather all the operational information needed for a re-employment in SAS, and to get background information for an operational interview.
You will find additional information regarding the job as pilot in SAS on www.sasflightops.com
If You have already registered an application as "Former SAS Pilot" you do not need to apply again. It is important though that you make sure your application is updated with any relevant changes. If you have any updates for your CV, please contact SAS by e-mail [email protected], and state your name, license number and your changes.
We do expect that you already have a valid Scandinavian JAR license.
The application process must be done in one sequence - consequently you cannot fill out some of the fields and then return later. Do expect to use approximately 30 minutes to complete the entire application process.
For technical reasons DO NOT try to reenter the process after you have submitted you application. If you want to make any updates you MUST contact SAS by e-mail [email protected] , stating your name, licence number and your changes. We recommend that you update your application with changes to flight time and other relevant data every 6 month.
On the following pages you will be asked to provide information related to:
Flight time
Licence
Type rating(s)
Medical certificate
Contact information for minimum 2 reference persons that SAS may contact.
Before you start the application process, please prepare the following digital copies for upload (maximum file size is 2MB/file). Photo should be in .jpg or .gif format and documents in any " office " or .pdf format.

Digital copy of your license
Digital copy of medical certificate
Digital copy of type rating(s)
Digital motivated application (Cover Letter) Digital CV Items marked
with a red star are required fields. To complete the process you must enter a username and a password.
After you have submitted your application, you will receive an e-mail confirming that we have registered your application. Thereafter (when available) information regarding the available positions will be sent directly from our HR department.
If you are no longer interest in returning to SAS, please let us know so that we can remove your application.
