Following the death of Peter Vallance in January we at the museum have been asked just what is going to happen to the museum. Peters funeral took place last friday 8/2/2013, with a huge turnout of people to say goodbye.
The museum is now under the control of a charitable trust put in place for just this eventuality. The board of trustees has held a number of meetings and over the next few weeks we expect the future of the musuem to be decided. There's is no doubt that the museum will continue, it will change but the trustees are committed to see Peters vision become a reality.
We, the musuem members, fully expect to go from strength to strength and improve and envigorate the museum in the next few years.
