HI,

Just got my Inspiron 8200 direct from Dell, and decided to save money and go for the minimum memory option and upgrade with crucial as soon as i received the machine.

To add an extra 256mb to my machine with dell would cost £234 including tax, with Crucial it cost £138.00, a saving of just under £100.00.

I was very impressed with their service ordered 10.00am arrived 07.30 next day......

This link should take you straight to their website, and you will get 10% discount as well.

Crucial Technology memory upgrades (http://www.crucial.com/uk/index.asp?AID=5032991&PID=1074287)

And i see that this weekend they have upped the discount to 15%:p

Have a look at http://www.autdirect.co.uk

They do all sorts of upgrades including memory at very low prices, The only drawback is that it can take a couple of weeks for the goods to arrive.

As a Example a 256mb PC266 DDR cost me £51...

You did exactly what I recommend my friends and colleagues do whenever they buy a system. About 3 or 4 have done it so far and the delivery has always been next-day.

I have also used it for my main system.

The prices were the cheapest that i have found anywhere. Their customer service is good also, had a faulty PC133 chip once, they sent a new one and just asked for the faulty one to be put in the post.....very honest.

Happy upgrading...
