Hello I've been a long time lurker here and this is my first post!
I am currently a Flight Instructor in Los Angeles with about 300 TT
I was hoping maybe after I get my hours up to 500-750 and get a type rating on the A320, that I can start looking at jobs at an airline in the Philippines
I have a Filipino Citizenship but I was also naturalized as a US Citizen.
Philippine Airlines currently requires Second Officer applicants to have 500TT but your hours on a 500+HP plane counts as full, and only 50% of you time flying aircraft with less than 500HP counts.
Maybe Zest Air, Air Phil, Sea Air can take me in flying turboprops but i have no idea where to find their pilot requirements!
I was hoping if anyone with an insight on how a lowtime wannabe like me can get started flying on an airline in the Philippines can please shed some light on this very grey area would be much appreciated :D
My dream has always been to start my career with Philippine Airlines ever since I was little!!
