Is this happening and being implemented in Malaysia Aviation?

If it's true I imagine it's a beginning of a painful journey. If so shouldn't it be mitigated by an additional package to compensate the significance loss to prevent any exodus about to begin.
Domino effect will soon prevail NPL, car auction, property devaluation & probably Pilots voting for opposition :}
Air Asia allowance structure is high where mostly the income is from and it's the industry standard for No Frills Airline. Should this were to persist any plan from the Airlines in boleh land to counter the sitiuation.
Would love to hear opinions from sifu's and experienced aviators of Malaysia :ok:

Do you mean Tax on your allowances as well as Basic?
I think you will find your supposed to be paying it anyway. MAS and Firefly
have exemption from Ministry of finance. I know cos I worked for FY and we
fought to get the same as MAS and fair play to Eddy we got it. as For AK when I did my 1st Tax return the Payroll Girl told me allowances not Taxable.

At thet time I used a Firm that handled some of the biggest firms IN KL and
made it clear actually its Taxable.
In other words sounds like they have declared your basic right but not your
Allowances and YES your allowances are taxable. Dont take my word for it
go and ask any reputable firm.
Sounds like LHDN have caught up with them LOL.
