Class one and Class two medical

Hello!
For some reason i seem to think that to get either a class one or two medical, you have to go to Glasgow. I don't know where i've got that from but...is that where the CAA medical offices are or something?

Do I just contact the CAA to get a local and qualified doc to check me out? Or do i have to go to Glasgow?:confused:

There are qualified aviation doc's all over the country. innitial class one medical can only be granted at the CAA HQ at Gatwick. However renewals and Class two can be granted at any of the approved local doc's. Details can be obtained from the CAA website at www.srg.caa.co.uk
