Does anyone have any info on how they are going with the addition of the Saab's? Are they flying charter in them yet? Brisbane based?

There's one in Canberra. Seems to spend an awful lot of time parked during the day, so perhaps doing night freight?

Yes, they are flying charter in them. They were still training up until a few weeks ago, but they are in the swing of it now. Very nice aircraft too. :ok:

SAAB 340 Corporate Air came into YTWB today 14/3. Believe to be the first time a S340 has ever landed in YTWB.

Scott,
Did they have pax onboard or was it a sales pitch?

G'day Grogmonster
Yeah they had Pax on board. It was a Charter run, a pickup @ YTWB and then onto Roma and returned at approx 15:45 for a breif turn around back to Brisvegas.
Cheers

Rumoured that once Miles airport rebuild is completed the Saabs will be regular visitors to MLS / ROM

Roma and Gladstone , although that's only 1 plane. Where are the other two?

One seemed to be sitting in Goulburn for a while as a bit of a project - it was still painted dark blue - but I haven't been in there for ages so not sure what it's doing now.
