Believe it's the Green Gazelle from one of the flying schools based at YCAB. D328 has flown down from Cairns for the search.

There must be some intel on it as the initial search area was very close to the airport. Doesn't sound very good at the moment as quite some time has passed.

Not suggesting anything at all, but was the weather good up there today?

The aircraft has now allegedly been found. I don't believe that the news is good but it's only early yet and this happened a very short time ago.

Media reports the aircraft has been found in bushland at the Glass House Montains, one person deceased believed to be on board but not confirmed as personnel on the ground have not yet reached the site.

Sad indeed.

BH runs a very good operation up there.

FYI - The aircraft was being privately operated by one of the owners and the flight was not a part of any flying school operations.
