Lighting Mate,

It's, like, a stylistic device, meant to convey, like, a certain disregard for the poster who is commenting on something that has been posted like, thirty times before? Kinda like using 'innit,' for effect, innit?

A governmental agency filled with incompetence and dishonesty?

Shocked, I tell you. Shocked.

We couldn't have buggered up air travel safety and security any more if we'd deliberately tried.

An airport mate of mine has a theory that Bin Laden was secretly being paid by the world's largest security companies. :suspect: :}
The money they have made out of this decade long caper must be in the high zillions.

Those Nice TSA Guys..........

are taking out those full body nudey scanners !

Many complaints, and many insisting on a grope check instead, which takes a lot of time and clogs up 'the system'.

People Power has won one - for now.

Taking out the scanners? That's disappointing, they were the only thing which made me look even remotely buff. I can't imaging why anyone would prefer a grope check to the machine.

People Power not taking enough care over what it wished for....

They're only removing the x-ray based body scanners. The other type of body scanner remains in use.

After losing two TSA approved combination locks from my bags I have to admit defeat. Not that they were a lot of deterrence to the light fingered but I thought they were better than none. Travel has become a complete pain.:bored:

Jimmeh gave it a pretty good shot with deregulation.

So there are dishonest people in the world, and some of them work in airport security. And the point is?
