Too bad they didn't have something in there for scale. Normally they refer to a B747, that would have been brilliant.

Per? Did you watch it through to the end? They superimposed a scale to scale image of Manhattan on to it. Bit more than a B747 I'd say! :ooh:

The narrator thought it was horrible because, once again if you saw it through to the end Sunny, you would've realised the scale of the collapse and the speed of the glacier retreat. Hideous. Indeed 'horrible'.

Indeed! Crossing a glacier and watching the guy in front of you disappear down a crevasse is quite an experience!

...especially when you are roped to him. Ah, the joys of Adventurous Training. Sometimes that Hard-Lying allowance was earned.
