Err, what are we supposed to do here? Could we at least have refereences to a couple of rabid Daily Mail articles or the like to get us started.

First define community

Most people I know are not members of the "community" in the sense that they rarely speak to the neighbours, don't know them and never socialise with them. Your initial premise, in a modern environment, is flawed

Well, guess you don't know me, so that leaves me out of this. :p

AA,

So am I, especially since you and Dushan were the first responders:O

"In a very real sense we, as members of the community, must all take our share of responsibility and shoulder some of the blame."

"I know these kids, I know their background""

And therefore, since "I know these kids, I know their background", "as members of the community" and taking our "responsibility" seriously, the punishment will be severe to ensure that they do not do it again.

I'm sure the thread is more about the excuses... ;)

My view is that the definition of "community" needs to be reviewed, with a view to perhaps removing the requirement for it to be geographically based.

For example all of those posting on this thread could be described as "the Jet Blast community".

You require at least 2 "going forward"s in that diatribe, plus at least one "stakeholders" and an "empowerment" to bring it up to date.

I'm not a member of any Jet Blast "community" because I don't commune.

I don't drink at the JB Members Lounge nor soak in the jacuzzi with naked
ladies at the JB health spa afterwards.

That's the one TTN...

I just thought we needed a location for all those wonderful quotes that seem to come up justifying/excusing/spreading the blame whenever a "disadvantaged" person from a "deprived background" is "unfairly treated" by an "unreformed police service" (etc etc etc continued on page 94)

i.e. when a nasty little scrote is given a good kicking, err, falls down the steps on his way to the cells

Not to worry Alloa. I know Slash will disagree but always keep in mind that more than a mouthful is wasted!!!!

"But god I wish she had big tits.."

Why? Do you have some sort of breastfeeding fetish?

Small boobs are neat and nice and will still look good in a few years when yer bosomy lass will be playing soccer with 'em.

She's got all that and you're whining about her tits?

A most unwise fellow.

Although I agree with your assertion that small boobs are neat and nice and will still look good in a few years, I disagree with bigger boobs being played like soccer balls. That's why we have silicon! Plastic boobs! They never sink into oblivion but remain
perky forever. Well, at least until the next implant anyway!!!!!
