[Need to Know Basis]

I note Iraqi Airways too delivery of a B777-200LR ( Was for Air Austral but they decided against it ) and also A330 both delivered in December. Order book includes 10 x Dreamliners and 30 x B738 which is sizeable. I note from their schedule they publish the next 3 days flying and the furthest west is IST ! They are talking of LGW / FRA / VIE / STO for Europe but I assume the B777 would be for the US ?

Does anyone have any news / rumours etc.....it must be expensive having x 2 big brand new aircraft doing nothing on the ramp at BGW ?

Looks like a very consistent fleet strategy. I hear they also have on order:

Yep - a real mixed bag. The question remains as to what they are going to do with it all.

Looks like Boeing, Airbus, Sukhoi, Antonov and Tupolev are spreading the bribe money quite equally... Everyone got something for it. ;)
