I couldn't locate an answer in LASORS.
Now I have a current MPA type rating (CS-25), infact that wasn'y my first MPA type so when I completed it I held no current IR.
I haven't kept my SPA IR current, because a current SPA IR was only required for the first Multi pilot type.
Hence I had no real need to keep the SPA IR current for several years.
Now my question is if I needed to do a type/ class rating on a CS 23 type (most of which are single pilot aircraft (SPA) even if operateted multi crew on most AOCs), would I need to renew the SPA IR prior to the course. Or does my MPA IR count as a "current IR" for the purposes of commencing a SPA class/type rating .
