Hi

Just a quick question? Does anyone know if ANZ base pilots at LHR or is it just cabin crew? If not, do the fly the full 4 legs between AKL-LAX-LHR-LAX-AKL?

Hi OMAAbound,

As far as I know (from flights as a passenger and chatting to the cabin crew) they do have pilots based in LHR but they only fly as far as LAX or, for the time being, HKG. The LHR-HKG route finishes in March sometime so there may be some job losses for both cabin crew and pilots.

Moving to T5 you don't see any other staff than your own so i was unsure as to whether they had pilots or not. Ive seen the odd CC on flight between MAN-LHR going for the LAX or HKG.

Hi

There are no pilots based in the UK. There are FAs and unfortunately there will be FA job losses as a consequence of the axing of HKG
