I have a CD which only works on Win95, is there anyway the disc can be 'modified' so I can see the contents using Win98? Ta folks.

How was the CD created? Is it a retail disk or was it perhaps created using packet writing software like DirectCD?

Stagger, its a commercially produced CD.

Well this sounds a bit strange - it would be easier to understand if it was the other way around - 98 can read it but 95 can't.

I had the same problem with a games for my daughter. You can "read" it OK in Win98 but it will not install/run. I tried lots of work-arounds but no go. Ended up re installing Win95 on her computer.

I haven't tried to install it on my computer (XP-pro) yet but it should be a go-er as this supposedly has a "compatability" system where you can select the windows flavour.
