Hi all
I posted a few months back on one of the threads on how i wasn't eligible to join any of the Chinese Airlines for a simple reason: The Chinese authorities didn't accept my nationality as i hold a passport that they don't recognize!! Anyways i'm not writing to winge, i just want to ask if the Hong Kong authorities also follow the same or similar set of policies??
I'm hoping to apply to Jetstar HK, but i dont even want to attempt this if my "nationality" is going to ruin my chances.
Appreciate all your input
Cheers

HK is a bit different - if you look at the number of nationalities hired by CX and KA (for example) you will find that the HKCAD is fine with it

All the best

APdriver,

Are you Muslim, ethnic Malay? if so it might be difficult as USA authorities are a bit sticky with this group.

No, not at all, I'm Christian and i'm South Asian. However i wasn't accepted by the Chinese authorities, so thats why i just needed to know whether it was worth my while to apply to Jet Star HK. Thanks
