Some people donít care for this stuff but this has a nice sound. Like a lot of African music the tempo changes in the middle. Here about 5:15. The dancing girls are cute as hell and it amazes me the modern adaptations to traditional tribal dance you see in some of these videos.

George Melly summed up Glen Miller about correctly in my view when he once said "Far better that the man had lived, and the music had died"

Thats hard Milo. Popular music has it's time and all music is popular for a time.

And Millie (Small) must have been one of the first pop chanteuses to get her kit off for publicity purposes.

Yeah I saw that while I was surfing. She was a little hottie from Jamaica. Older than me though! Wish I'd run into her about 1969.

Hey That sounds great.

This is simple but it saounds really good and the dancers make me laugh because they are taking light fun of whites. I thought one girl was going over the fence into the water....

Having now seen Mr. Drapers last post, I don't think I need Google.

I'll continue to enjoy my Glenn Miller LP's, Videos, CD's and memories that got people up and dancing.

Glenn Miller was past 27 years old when he died, so he's not part of that conspiracy.

I first heard it in de Nor in Heerlen when he must have been on his first European tour, mid 1970s.
