Just heard a rumour recently that standard procedure at Lion Air now is that the captain will assume the role of PF after passing below 5000 ft and will perform the approach and landing. Can can anyone confirm this? If true, then it puts a new meaning to the term 'FO' at Lion Air ... not First Officer, but 'Flap Operator' ...
