Just wondering if anyone out there can answer this. Have noticed that the 2nd & 3rd flights each day between aberdeen and gatwick are using RJ100's wheras the 1st & 4th are still with 737's. I remember a couple of years ago, BA were planning to use cityfliyer on this route but backed down. Could this recent move be testing out the viability again, or is there a simpler reason for mixing BA and city express on the same route?

Cityflyer are now part of BA, so they can mix and match RJs and 737s anywhere they like really.

You will find that most of the european routes now mix and match RJ's and 737's as and when required.

AS Cityflyer are now fully intergated in to British Airways all aircraft allocation etc is done by the same people.:D
