Given that its the anniversary tommorrow of the Midland 737 crash at EMA, and in previous January's we've had a BMA F27 mishap, a Aer Lingus SD360 crunch on the Donington Race track, and a Beech Queenair? crash in the airport boundary i'm personally relieved although saddened it was a Spitfire.....

If it's Rolls Royce's PRXIX PS853 then surely it's a Griffon?

Makes a change Pilots taking the Piss out of fellow Pilots over 'non events' instead of giving it to the spotters all the time

Wind history showing x-wind (from sw) on the runway of poss 15 mph at times.
Spotters not considered an issue as of no use to man nor beast in any wind, although could be used as chocks in an emergency.
No pm's from spotters please, if you cant take a joke hard luck.
