Saw it land about 1130LT and parked F13 or thereabouts. Couldn't have been scheduled...any info?

Noted elsewhere as a medical emergency

Doubt it would of been a medical emergency, I saw both QF 380 at LHR yesterday, and they are the only ones that would divert to DXB.

More than likely been Aircraft familiarization for air crew, ground crew, engineering, etc.

Thanks. Looked but didn't see a mention anywhere (must try harder). Figured it might be something like that..

Was a medical emergency, as was the MAS A388 a few days before. QFA was ex EGLL-WSSS.

It was a medical diversion, QF10 LHR to SIN.

I don't think QF can afford or need to fly an A380 to DXB to familiarise EK with A380 handling!!

Aircraft familiarization in a place that they have almost 30 A380?? No need to do such a thing.

As previously stated, medical diversion, and I think itīs not the first time this happens to QF in DXB, and in April2013 ,it will be stopping there daily as part of the agreement between EK and QA.

Aircraft famil.....could have been, it's been so long since QF had a new destination they might have all got a bit excited.....
