Anyone with a Kobo (like a Kindle) will be pleased to hear there is a new firmware version with bugs fixed. Just connect to wifi and do a sync. Download and install is automatic and slow but sure, don't hold your breath...
I used to have all sorts of wifi compatibility probs, now mine is running real smooth, login is no prob and if left open it updates bookmarks and downloads books with no need for intervention.
It's still easier to search for books on computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone (I use the app) and then sync the book down. Again slow, but it gets there ok.
