That is the downside of getting older. All your old friends/acquaintances depart this life

I will always be grateful for the help and encouragement you gave me, in the 1960's, when I was starting out.
You were one of a kind.
RIP
Tony

Mac. conducted my joining interview with Bristows, the interview consisted of him showing me the pay scale, and asking when I could start.
Great boss to work for, he motivated his guys, but the pressure from above stopped with him.

RIP Mac. A good man; set me straight on a few things when I first joined Bristow.

SAS - I think the pipe-breaking episode was Bill Calthrop. Before my time.

Very sorry to hear this news.

Mac was a true gentleman and maintained strong relationships with all the people who worked for him. He was always very involved in the operations and activities under his control, but gave people the freedom to accomplish their jobs, and realize their own potential.

Always helpful, always calm and considered. It was a privilege to have known and worked for him.

He greatly assisted me in my early career.

Deepest sympathies to the family and especially Roddy...
