Screen Shots

I want to get some screen shots of some games and videos, however, some of these show the image on a "layer on the screen", the image is not "on the screen itself". Can you name a few screen shot programs that can take the photos?

printscreen doesn't work with most DX applications. Try a free program called FRAPS (www.fraps.com), it lets you take screenshots/capture video etc

If all else fails, use an actual camera on a pound-shop mini tripod. Cheap cameras or phones without auto focus have less shutter lag.
