Hi all .
Someone who tried this program in the past or about to start in the next slot?

Every suggestions or real experience about that really appreciated.

I would guess that the airline is Tropic Air in Belize.

But I would advice against it since you can get a job on the Caravan in other parts of the world.

Try Susi Air in Indonesia for example.

500 hours "line training" in a single crew aircraft? It's just a big C172 man.

If you must sell your soul to the P2F devil, at least choose something that won't make the chief pilot roll on the floor laughing when he sees your CV

I have hundreds of hours in a C208 and would say that it's easier to fly than a 172. Much more stable and easier to land in a cross wind. No shock cooling problems when descending at idle and no leaning of mixture to worry about.

As for FO time on it I'm not sure if it is worth it. It may beef up you TT in the log book but don't think the JAA will recognise the hours for unfreezing of your atpl.

How much is this programme?

If it is tropic air I hope it goes with a class rating pack done with JAA TRI/TRE.
Being caravan a turboprop it needs Cessna SET rating on your license prior to log the hours or else they won't count in Europe. Although you can always log them in a ASA international logbook and use them in the rest of the world.

It's a single pilot aircraft. Unless you sign the tech log, you can't log anything. Turn up to an interview with that in your log book i would laugh at you and show you the door.

I just had a thought doing only one month ,about 100 hrs and then leaving the program , just for a bit of familiarization with the a/c .

I already emailed Susi many months ago, maybe i'm too olddd...
thanks all for your suggestions and info.

Guys take care because owner of skies Mazin. Run away from UAE to don't refund to pilots , i made a criminal case against him and prosecution put him in a jail till he gave me cheques, he paid one cheque then he closed skies Dubai to don't pay and run away from UAE . He forgot that there is Interpol . ;)
There is no line training at all . I know a lot of pilots still didn't get back their money from him .
Don't be next victim.
