Hi All

I am looking for advice on the best way to further my Flying career !
Basically my current job has a scheme going where employees can apply
for funding to re-train for a new career. Basically my current job is going
to be coming to a end in about 10 years as the work place is being
DeCommisioned.

I have a PPL with about 40 hours P1 and have secured Funding for my
ATPLs Distance Learning which I am hoping to start begining of next
year. And am hoping to go to the USA next year to do some hour
building and gain some more flying experience.

The Scheme for re training runs until December 2013 and you can apply
more than once as long as its linked to previous Training.

My question is there anyway I could apply for more funding for say IR
I guess I would need 70 hrs P1 which might be achievable but I doubt
I would be able to apply for CPL/IR as I won't have completed my 100
hrs P1 before funding application ends ?

Would it be feasible to do Multi Engine/IR first and then come back to do
CPL in Future once I have the required hours or is it best just to wait ?

I know people usually do CPL/IR together but if there was a possibility I
Could get some of it paid for me would it be worth it or Viable ?:confused
