This is a subject where i ve been thinking a lot lately. Im currently working in GA as f/o. Last year we got the news from the chief pilot that captains upgrade will be dependent on seniority. Just words, i got bypassed by someone who joined the company almost 2 year later than me. I was always flexible and they took the decision just without even talking to me. I feel insulted. I never, but never got complaints about my job. This 'incident' let me thinking about my future as a pilot. Somehow i wanted to resign, but i need this job, cause everything else is simply blocked. How can i make myself for marketable? How can i create a bit more future for me, how to increase your value as f/o? I was thinking to go to the airline, but thats is also impossible. I dont know anymore, i want to make progression, especially if i see friends in succeeding that.
