Can I find one HSBC customer in Oman who actually likes this bank more than any of the others on offer?

I'd feel a lot better if I couldn't find someone to put up their hand.

Used HSBC in Dhofar for a few years and had no complaints.

A few oddities were seeing a goat herder try to bring his goats into the branch, and a farmer also try to walk in with his rifle. Brilliant!

Staff were always friendly.

Used to use them in Bahrain. No problems-except for when they gave me a new cheque book. It was actually someone else's account. When I queried this the young lady teller asked me why I didn't want that cheque book. When I pointed out that it wasn't actually my account she looked at me blankly. I offered to use it only if the owner of the account had more money than me. I eventually got my own cheque book
