Does anyone know what $$ the 402B VH=FFJ was passed in for at Slattery's auction in recent times? Does anyone know this aircraft? Thanks for all and any help.

Have a business aossociate looking for a freighter 402 or PA31. The 402b has a bigger cargo door which suits his needs.

Can I interest you in a C404? Great freighter. Know of one for sale too.

39... I can't tell you about this auction, but FFJ has been for sale for a while.

A friend and I looked at it a while ago, but they had an unrealistic expectation at the time... considering the hours.... they might be keener today. Give them a call!

There is a pretty good 402A in Aviation Trader that has better hours on it!

My source from the auction says it didn't get a single bid.

Why not call Dave Connell from Slattery's and ask?

Was just flicking through an an old book the other day about the history of Adelaide airport and one section listed operator fleets. It listed FFJ as being operated by Eyre charter based out of Tumby Bay SA in the 80s. Even had a photo.

FFJ actually operated by Eyre Commuter out of Cummins in SA on RPT route Cummins, Tumby Bay to Adelaide (occasionally via Minlaton on Yorke Peninsula). Was a very good service to Lower Eyre Peninsula communities.
Also in the fleet were PA-34-200T's VH-MRY and VH-KAE.

Was it this one?

VH-FFJ 1976 Cessna 402B
S/N: 402B1016. Just gone through complete rebuild. New Engines, most components either new or refurbished including undercarriage. All AD’s complied with.

Would have to be a lot more than $200K put into it if that means what it should. I wonder what the total time is and why SIDs are not mentioned. :)
