Maybe Qantas could send Luke Murray up there again. He loves Japan.

Errrr, never anybody at the top, but I am sure they will find someone at the coalface to blame.

Thats the reason why the policy&procedures manual exists and is oh so massive.

Fed Sec, give yourself an uppercut!!! Luke is waaaaay too professional to oversee that crap. Just out of interest, WHO is overseeing/managing Jet Cancer Japan Engineering and allowing this to happen

Would be good if CASA was as effective and assertive as Japan CAD!

Is it the star management cadet who was a DMM in BNE? Is it the half price Ops Manager of SE Asia whom left behind a trail of destruction?

Yes, this hairy individual howls at the moon.

JQ has been able to take their cut price procedures all over Asia and successfully operate under the local NAA's noses. In Japan, it may be cultural, but they are a little bit fastidious. It would be intersesting to see their true cost of labour over there and undoubtedly they will send for reinforcements from Oz, at any cost, to make that venture appear to work.

I hope Ben Sandilands investigates this and gives QF/JQ management the rocket that they deserve. :ugh:

Ben Sandilands – Plane Talking. (http://blogs.crikey.com.au/planetalking/2012/11/18/jetstar-japan-ordered-to-suspend-expansion-after-safety-reprimand/)

Jetstar Japan has received notification from the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) in relation to a small number of issues within the airline’s internal engineering procedures.

The boys over at Tiger must be shaking their heads and having a quite smile. Japan returns the compliment to do a Tiger on J*. Aye, the devil is in the details.

Having dealt with JCAB on few aircraft exports, that is the last thing you would wish for!!!... pedantic, unreasonable, inflexible don't come close to being adequate adjectives!

Whilst I accept there could be bigger JQ issues me thinks this one could be more of a storm in a teacup!
